Expectations for Real Wireless Power

As an energy source, it is expected that the number of devices that use batteries as the current optimum solution will explode under the keyword of IoT. Here we face a big problem. The energy that can be stored in the battery is finite. What if the power can be supplied wirelessly with usability like Wi-Fi?

How many devices around you are powered by electrical energy?
How many of these devices use batteries as an energy source?
How many times did you ask the same question 10 years ago?
If you ask the same question 10 years later, how many do you imagine?

Ten years ago, our PC was a cell phone with an Ethernet cable connected, and speaking of a phone, we could send and receive conversations and a few messages. Today, our PCs are wirelessly connected via Wi-Fi, can run on batteries for a certain period of time, and all the functions of mobile phones, cameras, game consoles, and PCs are integrated into smartphones and tablets. Imagine a world 10 years from now.
In Japan, a system that highly integrates cyberspace and physical space by utilizing AIoT (AI & IoT) has been proposed as Society 5.0.

Just by looking around us, we can see that the number of devices powered by electrical energy is on the rise. Among them, the number of devices that use batteries as the current optimum solution as an energy source is expected to increase explosively under the keyword of IoT. Here we face a big problem. The energy that a battery can store is finite. Would you like to replace
the battery when the (huge number) of devices with batteries run out of stored energy ? Do you want to connect the cable to charge? Do you want to let go of your freedom and use a cable to supply power?

What if the power can be supplied wirelessly with usability like Wi-Fi?

Imagine a world free from the constraints of cables and charging.

Starting with Hatem's foresight, wisdom and ideas, Ossia offers a perfection of technology for this new world. Similarly in Japan, due to the great efforts of our ancestors who are aiming for this new world, legislation is in progress to open the door to a hopeful future.

We would like to extend our gratitude to everyone who has endeavored to open up this new world.
We hope that Cota, a true wireless power transfer system with ease of use like Wi-Fi provided by Ossia, will be a catalyst for the realization of true IoT.

We are ready to open up the future. Would you like to build a new world with us?

Office, Retail and Home Cota Real Wireless Power

This time, I posted about the familiar environment that is easy to imagine as an introduction.
Next time, I would like to show some of our ideas on the theme of IoT, which we consider to have the highest affinity with Cota technology.

Finally, I would like to thank Jen for giving me the opportunity to post on this blog.
