Ossia, E-PEAS, and E Ink unveiled a battery-free wirelessly-powered Electronic Paper Display (EPD) prototype. The companies plan to release this leading-edge technology for commercial use by the end of next year.
The group envisions wireless power as a key enabler to the extensive use of smart display solutions in the Internet of Things (IoT). Wirelessly-powered EPD devices for the IoT can be used in a wide range of industries, including retail, industrial, logistics and warehousing.
