Ossia ecosystem partner Toyoda Gosei (TG), a Toyota Group Company shares how their open innovation efforts are leading to new capabilities without being held back by conventional technical wisdom. TG entered into a partnership with Ossia in September 2019 and is working aggressively to promote co-development of Ossia’s Cota® Real Wireless Power™ technology across multiple use-case applications.
TG is developing Cota wireless power to address the future power needs identified by the Japanese Cabinet Office’s “Super City” concept. Cota is also attracting attention as something that will support the seamless environments that are the aim of TG’s Mobility as a Service (MaaS) and Living as a Service (LaaS) initiatives.
